A Vineyard Story - Cirotto
Did you know our Proseccos are all specially sourced from small wineries in Italy?
You’ll find it hard to find them anywhere else in London. In honour of our producers, join us each month for A Vineyard Story where we’ll bring you tales from one of our Prosecco vineyards. This month, travel with us to Cirotto, also known as the “pearl of the Treviso province”. The graceful, yet authentically medieval Italian town, belongs to the beautiful “Borghi d’Italia”, nestled away in the foothills of the Dolomites and the perfect place to begin our Prosecco journey in Italy...
The story of the Cirotto vineyard began three generations ago in 2000, with a small winery purchased by the Cirotto family. The family took on the land, taking care of the Prosecco producing process from start to finish, from the vine to the bottle. Since, the siblings Monica, Barbara and Gilberto have continued to bring a fresh and evolving energy to the care of the current production, ensuring every bottle is sent off with a pop and a fizz to land in your glass with no less of a sparkle than it was grown.
The family-run enterprise ties together the heritage of the Asolo wine region with the family pursuit for fine Prosecco. Each bottle bears a personal signature to the siblings, marking an ode to their dedication to the vineyard, the production and their wine cellar which perfectly reflect their land.
